Found this Mother Goose and Grimm comic strip in the newspaper today. Never thought I'd ever see anime referenced in the same breath as Al Qaeda. Not sure if it's insulting or not. What do you think?

Yeah, it's kinda weird tho. I had to reread it and then I went, "Oh! Enemy! I get it! :)" but then I thought, "Is this guy saying anime is evil?" O_o? That's probably reading WAY too much into a silly little comic strip tho! ^_^

It's a play on the word anime and how some people pronounce it. The one character is misinterpreting anime as enemy. The last panel has what we are supposed to presume is Bin Laden and the dog (I guess it is) is saying that that is the enemy. It's a bit of a stretch but that's what the cartoonist is going for. :)
