I would like to state for the record that LJ's new look absolutely sucks ass. BORING! :p Also LJ, thanks for fucking up some features on here. MASSIVE fail for not loading user info pages, LJ! Being kicked back to a previous page when I click on a user info tab is just so much WTFery. Also, can somebody tell me how you go directly to your friends page when you first log in WITHOUT having to go to your own journal first?? jeez.... :/

I HATE the new LJ layout. Switched back to classic not ten minutes after trying the new one (with the last nine min spent figuring out HOW to change back). Don't know how to do anything that you mentioned, but if you want to switch back, there should be a button in the upper right (there's a glitch last time I checked--it'll either show a word bubble with a question mark or just a blank square) that you can click on to change back to the old version.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to switch this thing somehow. I don't see a button like you're describing tho. Glitch must still be in effect. :/ Hopefully I can find something I can use.

UGH! It took for-fucking-ever but I finally have this thing set back to "classic". sheesh. :p A blank square that's not really a square hiding on a tool bar of the exact same color? Really LJ? Really?? jeez....

Ugh, I know! Sorry I didn't know how to describe--the post I read (that I can no longer fine, darn it!) screencapped and circled it, which made the whole seeing-through-the-glitch problem much easier to handle. But yeah--that glitch caused me so much headache at first. Stupid LJ is stupid. End of discussion.

Yeah, it sucks balls. I switched back to the old style and will keep it until they force their bullshit on me.

One thing: is your friends page different now? The only change I noticed was with the home page, which I never use anyway. I have my journal style just the way I like it and will be really pissed if my customization is taken away for the one page I use the most.

Of course all of this happens JUST as I broke down and decided to renew for a whole year (had been renewing my paid account in increments while I was debating). Fucking LJ.

My friends page seems to be unaffected. Looks the same anyway. I just can't figure out how to get TO the bloody thing either from the home page (which I don't really use. just logged on to LJ.com and there the mess was) or from something I've clicked on. I have to use back page once I click on a post to get back to my friends page. The navigation bar at the top is all but unusable. :/

Finally got this thing set back to "classic" btw. Took for-damn-ever to do it but it's done. Yeah, user friendly my ass!
