SkinnyMe Chocolates...so not worth it
Feb. 21st, 2016 01:22 amSo, I tried some of these and, well, let's just say I was not impressed. :/ You pay your money, you take your chances, as they say, and in this case, lesson learned the hard way. SkinnyMe chocolates are these little square wafer things that are sugar free (they're sweetened with Stevia) and I'm posting my review of these chocolates here 'cause I know there's no way in hell SkinnyMe is EVER going to post this less than glowing comment on their webpage. :)
"These chocolates were really not what I was led to believe in the reviews. Yes, the chocolates are good but they're really not all that. The squares/wafers are only an eighth of an inch (4 mm) thick and are roughly 2 inches (5 cm) square. They don't really melt in your mouth like regular chocolates will. SkinnyMe chocolates may look like Lindt or Ghirardelli squares but, in my opinion, Lindt and Ghirardelli are far better chocolates. If being sugar free is important to you then buy these; otherwise, save your money and splurge on the good stuff - sugar, fat, calories and all. For a dollar per teensy piece of chocolate, I honestly feel my money would have been better spent on the name brand stuff (i.e. Lindt, Ghirardelli, or Hershey)."
Yep, that is SO not going on their webpage! ^_^ Truth is the truth tho. Some things can be sugar free and be just fine. Chocolate, however, needs to have real ingredients to have the best (i.e. real) taste.
